Aims:

The symposium aims to provide a platform for local and international experts to share their views and knowledge on the latest development related to nuclear engineering technology, and advances in nuclear safety after the Fukushima nuclear accident. The symposium also gives an opportunity for the experts to share their insight on the challenges and opportunities associated with the safe application of nuclear energy in the region.

個人簡歷
鄭玉輝，中國核能行業協會專家委員會秘書長，研究員級高工。 1965年畢業於清華大學，長期從事乏燃料後處理工藝研究、核教育行政管理，以及核能發展戰略、規劃、政策和法規研究工作。曾任核工業部教育司司長、中國核工業經濟研究中心主任、中國核科技資訊與經濟研究院科技委主任等職務。 近年來，主要從事我國核電中長期發展規劃研究、核燃料發展的重大問題研究、《原子能法》立法研究等，為政府相關部門及核電企業提供諮詢服務及決策支援。

Abstract:

2011年日本發生福島核事故，沒有改變我國核電發展的基本態勢。六年來，有24台核電機組投入運行，15台核電機組開工建設，正在實現由二代向三代的跨越。在核電的帶動下，核電裝備製造、工程設計建造能力不斷提高，鈾資源、核燃料保障能力大幅提升，核電“走出去”初見成效。2030年前是我國核電發展的戰略機遇期，但近期也面臨諸多挑戰。預計“十三五”，將是我國投運核電機組、新建核電機組數最多的五年，我國將成為僅次於美國的世界核電第二大國，實現二代技術向三代技術的轉型升級，為建設世界核電強國打下堅實的基礎。

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sixth Annual General Meeting of the Hong Kong Nuclear Society will be held on Tuesday, 5th December 2017 at 6:30pm at Mr & Mrs Ho Chun Hung Lecture Theatre (LT12) , 4th Floor, Yeung Kin Man Academic Building (AC1), City University of Hong Kong, Kowloon Tong, for the following purposes:

  1. To confirm the minutes of the fifth AGM in 2016
  2. To confirm the Office Bearers, and Members of the Executive Committee to serve the society for Session 2017/2018
  3. To receive and adopt the Report of the Chairman, including the current status of registering the society as a company limited by guarantee
  4. To receive and adopt the Financial Statement of the Treasurer and Auditor’s report
  5. To confirm the appointment of our Honorary Auditor, Mr Wong W.P. Ricky, for continuing to serve the society in the coming year. 
  6. To confirm the appointment of our Honorary Legal advisor, Mr Kan Tony, for continuing to serve our society in the coming year
  7. Any other business

In case of adjournment of the AGM, members of the Society shall check on the Society's website at www.hkns.hk, the revised venue, time and date for the adjourned AGM.
